IMF improves its forecast for Russian economy in 2023, 2024

WASHINGTON, Jan 31 (PRIME) -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has improved its Russian economic forecast by 2.6 percentage points to a 0.3% growth of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2023 and by 0.6 percentage point to a growth of 2.1% in 2024, the IMF said in a report on Tuesday.

The IMF upgraded its global forecast by 0.2 percentage points to an increase of 2.9% in 2023, but cut it by 0.1 percentage point to a 3.1% expansion in 2024.
